When it comes to small everyday carry bags, the Moment Fast and Light 1.5L Sling sits in that interesting middle ground between ultra-minimal and surprisingly capable. It’s designed to hold just what you need — nothing more, nothing less — and it does that well. After spending some time with the sample version, I’ve found that while it’s not perfect, it’s a thoughtfully made sling that fits comfortably into Moment’s Fast & Light Collection ethos: clean design, streamlined carry, and no unnecessary fluff.

It’s a solid, reliable sling that I genuinely enjoy using, but it’s not flawless. Some small tweaks — particularly with organization and strap details — could easily push it higher. Still, for what it is, the 1.5L Sling gets a lot right.

The size is spot on. Worn crossbody, it basically disappears, but there’s still room for your essentials without feeling crammed. That balance is harder than it sounds—most tiny slings either tap out after a phone and wallet, or feel weirdly big for light carry. This 1.5L hits the middle perfectly and feels intentional.

Some Criticisms
